As Registered Auditors we are authorised to act as Reporting Accountants under the Solicitors Accounts Rules. We have current experience of acting for local solicitors ranging from a sole practitioner with a small practice based at home, to a £1M+ turnover solicitors practice.

Both the Solicitor and the Reporting Accountant have to take the stringent rules surrounding the operation of Client Accounts very seriously. We are used to treading the fine line between meticulous compliance with the regulations and a friendly, helpful approach including feedback and suggestions to the Solicitor.

This is a verbatim email extract from a Solicitor at the conclusion of a new Reporting Accountant assignment under the Solicitors Accounts Rules, having just taken over from another firm of Accountants:
